I caught the acting bug when I was twelve and saw my older brother’s high school performance of Guys and Dolls.  Somewhere between the opening number and the curtain call I had decided bringing stories to life was what I wanted to do. I had been playing make believe and acting out school projects for years, but at that moment I realized it could be a career.  I’ve been pursuing the arts ever since.  After high school, I moved from the Chicago suburbs to NYC to attend the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.  Like every starving artist, I moved into a mice infested, sorry excuse for a room and loved every minute of it.  Since graduating, I relocated back to Chicago where I hit the ground running.  I performed in the dinner theater shows at Medieval Times playing the role of Princess Leah, realizing every little girls dream by wearing a gown and tiara for work everyday.  But even princesses must hang up their crowns at some point, and after two years I left to pursue other opportunities.  Since then I have had the pleasure to play many characters in commercials, films, and comedy skits suspending reality and bringing stories to life.

Danielle Doetsch has the oddest of the oddball roles as Leah, the girl-next-door who is so friendly that odds are she’s a fantasy, but who is able to come off as possibly just eccentric.

Newcomer, Danielle Doetsch, is a standout and not just because she’s dolled up in her sensual purple two-piece… it’s her enigmatic chemistry with fellow actress Cindel Chartrand that showcases her credibility as a blossoming prospect… Inviting yet always absorbing, she’s the young lady we all should have a crush on.
